Missouri River Youth Theatre
is holding auditions for
"Pollyanna"
our Fall Production.
All youth in grades 1-12 are welcome to audition.
We are planning to "double-cast" this play so there will be many opportunities for actors to participate. This play has 9 female roles and 7 male roles PLUS various "townspeople", some of whom have a few lines. Double-casting will mean that we will need 18 females and 14 males, plus extras. Each cast will perform twice.
Parents or legal guardians will need to attend one of the two
Mandatory Parent Meetings, either
Thursday, June 22 or Friday, June 23 at 7:00 p.m.
in order for their child to audition.
Parents may make an audition appointment for a ten minute time slot either
Tuesday, June 27 or Wednesday, June 28 between 3:00 and 6:30 p.m.
Youth and a parent must be available for Callbacks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, 29.

Weekly rehearsals begin the week of July 9.(Day of the week and time of day will be determined at the Parent Meetings.) Daily dress rehearsals begin September 25th. Performances will be at Thespian Hall in Boonville on October 4th -7th,2006.
