Missouri River Youth Theatre's goal of "Enriching Youth Through the Arts" leads us to reach out not only to the youth who make up the casts of our productions, but to the entire community.
We teach more than acting. The joy of helping others can bring as much satisfaction as showing off your talent on stage!
MRYT increases the resources available to the area food bank with a matinee of each production held as a food drive. No tickets are sold for this event. The audience is asked to bring one or more canned food items as their admission. We always enjoy a full house and have had the joy of collecting at a single performance enough pounds of food to feed 50 families!
Reserved seating is available for the remaining performances. MRYT believes in keeping ticket costs low in order for the entire community to benefit from the excitement of live theatre.
Thespian Hall's south entrance on Vine Street provides parking and accessibility to seating for the physically impaired.
Beautiful, historic Thespian Hall has a seating capacity of approximately 600. You may call 660 882 6076 and purchase your tickets on the main floor or balcony in advance. Tickets are $5.
Note: In order to provide for low income families and groups or special field trips, we reserve the last two rows of the balcony and main floor as $1 seating. If you are in need of this seating, it is best that you purchase your tickets as early as possible. You'll find Upcoming performances on the main page and on our "Calendar". Enjoy the show!!!
